Worked for this company for more than forty three (43) years , started as a Marketing Staff for DMC Construction Equipment Resources ,Inc. which was the construction equipment arm of DMCI. Held several positions within the company and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Presently, heading the Business Development Group of DMCI as its Senior Adviser.
Prior to a career in DMCI, started as a trainee for Swedish Match AB, and was trained in sawmill operation and furniture joinery production in Sweden and plywood manufacturing in France in 1975.
A short stint as Air Conditioning Supervisor for an Indonesian construction company in Balikapapan, Kalimantan, Indonesia followed in1976.
Later joined San Miguel Corporation in 1977 as Design Engineer in the Parola Glass Plant in Manila , Philippines.
In May 1979 joined DMCI through its equipment company DMC-CERI. Initially as an Marketing Staff in charge of equipment leasing (plant hire) and later became its Marketing Manager.
In 1983 was assigned in Brunei as business development officer and later became the country manager in charge of business development covering the region including Malaysia and Singapore until 1987.
In 1988 was reassigned again as Marketing and Sales Manager for DMC- CERI.
In 1990 concurrently held the position of head Asset & Materials Management Office.
In 1991, a joint venture company was formed to produce aggregates for the ready mix requirements of DMCI and was assigned as Asst. General Manager for the joint venture company, Vulcan Materials Corporation.
In 1995 was designated as Purchasing Manager for DMCI until 2001.
In 2001 was appointed Business Development Manager for local and overseas business .
In 2006 was concurrently seconded to DMCI Global Ltd. as Deputy Branch Manager in Dubai, U.A.E. till 2012.
Headed the Business Development Group and presently the Senior Adviser for Business Development.
